University Dining Renovation
Project architect for the Interior Design and Foodservice Design teams (Ricca Newmark Design). Full renovation to the upper floor of an existing 1960s brutalist concrete student union in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The upper level is the main dining facility for the campus. After complete demolition of the interiors, a new back of house kitchen was planned, as well as several specialty dining "venues" where students and faculty can pick and choose from the day's offerings. Coordination with all consultants was crucial as the existing structure is a concrete two way waffle slab.
